Biography
Yulia Smagina is a specialist in our company’s trademark department , where she has been working since 2011. Yulia has the status of trademark attorney of the Russian Federation in two categories, Trademarks and Service Marks and Industrial Designs.
Yulia provides a full range of services in the field of trademarks and industrial designs, while a significant part of her work is registration of marks abroad. In addition, Yulia works with many foreign clients when registering marks in the Russian Federation.
Yulia takes part in the annual conferences of the Chamber of Patent Attorneys of the Russian Federation, of which she is a member, as well as the Days of Intellectual Property in St. Petersburg. She is constantly improving her qualifications. For example, in 2020 she did a WIPO course entitled ”Intellectual Property Management”. Yulia also previously graduated from the WIPO Summer School on Intellectual Property.
Yulia has the diploma received at the Russian Herzen State Pedagogical University with a degree in Mathematics. She also graduated from the St. Petersburg International Institute of Management (IMISP) under the Strategic Marketing program.
Previously, Yulia worked as a marketing manager for a food wholesale company and as a project manager for a marketing agency. This experience allows Yulia to better understand the objectives and targets of our clients.
