WIPO Discussion on Artificial Intelligence

In 2019, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) hosted the first round of the Discussion on the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Intellectual Property Policy Development. WIPO invited the international community to identify the most pressing issues on this topic.

Based on the comments received, WIPO prepared a document revised version which was published in May 2020. This version formed the basis for the second round of the WIPO Discussion on July 7-9, 2020.
